We are seeking to grow our team with an experienced hardscape crew leader who has the skills, knowledge and attitude to take on complex custom hardscape projects and perform up to the standards of our discriminating clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew of typically one to five hardscape and landscape technicians
• Read and execute design installation plans
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, back hoes, plate tampers, and chop saws
• Maintain accurate records of materials and labor
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients
• Maintain positive attitude and uphold Shaffer Landscapes culture

Requirements

* 10+ years hardscaping, plus demonstrated leadership * Experience installing advanced patios, walls, garden ponds, water features, etc. * Basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills * Ability to lift more than 50 lbs and perform other physically-demanding tasks * Comfortable operating trucks with trailers (non-CDL) and other equipment * Valid driver’s license * Takes on challenges and solves problems *...
