Up to the challenge since 1985, Shaffer Landscapes designs and maintains the finest properties in Central Pennsylvania from our 53-acre nursery headquarters.

We are seeking to grow our team with an experienced estimator to help manage our landscape maintenance division, which is includes mulching, pruning, and bed cleanup (no lawn mowing). The ideal candidate would also have the ability to do some landscape design.

Responsibilities

• Quickly respond to landscape maintenance inquiries with accurate estimates
• Maintain relationships with existing maintenance customers
• Generate sales by being attentive and proactive
• Consult with customers and do small landscape designs
• Manage schedules and material ordering for landscape maintenance
• Work with crew leaders to ensure high quality standards
• Maintain positive attitude and uphold Shaffer Landscapes culture

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in landscaping industry
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
• Ability to do small landscape designs (preferred)
• Knowledge of horticulture and landscape construction
• Strong project estimating abilities
• Loves to take on challenges and solve problems
