COMPENSATION

Pay Range

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and skill level. Pay increases are available upon demonstrated merit and proven performance in the field. We reward hard work and expertise — the more you bring to the table, the more you earn. Starting pay with little to no experience is $19 hourly with opportunities for overtime.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a member of our landscaping crew, you will work across a variety of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities range from routine lawn maintenance to full-scale landscape construction projects. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and cleanup
• Operate commercial-grade mowers (zero-turn, stand-on, walk-behind) safely and efficiently
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation and sprinkler systems
• Assist with landscape construction projects: grading, retaining walls, patios, planting, and drainage
• Drive company trucks and tow trailers with equipment to and from job sites
• Load, unload, and properly secure tools, equipment, and materials
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in accordance with safety guidelines
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover as directed
• Perform seasonal cleanup including leaf removal, mulching, and bed edging
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Preferred In

• Lawn maintenance and grounds care (mowing, edging, trimming)
• Irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair
• Landscape construction (hardscaping, grading, retaining structures)
• Commercial mower operation (zero-turn, stand-on, walk-behind equipment)
• Driving trucks (Box truck, flatbed, or pickup with trailer — valid driver's license required)

Additional Qualities We Look For

• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina — ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor for extended periods
• Punctuality and reliability — consistent attendance is essential
• Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with crew leaders and clients
• Basic knowledge of plant care, soil, and horticultural practices (a plus)
• Pesticide/herbicide application certification (a plus, not required)

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability for early morning start times, Monday through Saturday
• Reliable transportation to the designated meeting/yard location
• Strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn if not experienced in field
