Landscape Builder/Technician

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills. They must also be able to follow directions, provide clear communication, ask questions, and work well in a team.
• You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
• You may be responsible for driving the company trailer and work truck to and from jobsites as needed
• You must be able to demonstrate legal capacity to work in the US.
• You must be able to adhere to company policies, have strong attendance, and maintain a professional appearance
• Must provide 3+ references, including recent supervisors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation and repair of irrigation systems.
• Plant shrubs, trees, herbs and grasses and landscapes as part of our team
• Construction of planter boxes, walkways, pergolas, seating areas, water features and other garden features.
• Move dirt, rocks, equipment, tools, and other materials
• Dig trenches for planting or irrigation systems as needed.

• Trimming and pruning of ornamental landscape plants and fruit trees
• Cross-training and working with our maintenance team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• An ideal candidate is someone who speaks English and Spanish, but it is not necessary (we are bilingual)
• 2+ years of landscaping or construction experience.
• Experience driving and maneuvering a trailer
• Carpentry experience
• Irrigation experience
• Experience working with plants.
