Howard Associates, Inc. is looking for a full-time Landscape Architectural Intern or Project Landscape Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent Autocad skills, an interest in design, be a self-starter, and be able to work independently. We are primarily interested in candidates with 1-3 years of experience.

Duties include

Assist with the design and drafting of landscape architectural projects, including urban developments, hotels, parks and recreation centers, commercial buildings and residential communities.

• Assist with the preparation of landscape architectural concept designs
• Preparation of concept graphics
• Preparation of construction documents, including hardscape, planting and irrigation plans
• Conduct site visits.
• Assist with the coordination of project management documents, including budgets and timelines.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or firm leadership team.

Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university (preferred).

• 0-3 years’ experience
• Excellent Autocad skills
• Photoshop (preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Hand design and graphic skills are a plus, but not required

Required Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes but is not limited to writing emails, speaking on phone calls, etc.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; including but not limited to interacting with clients, co-workers, vendors, etc. and working cooperatively with our team.
• License not required, but we strongly encourage you to work towards it.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
