Position Summary

The ISA Certified Arborist (Sales & Climbing Hybrid) plays a dual role within the company—serving both as a knowledgeable sales consultant and a skilled climbing arborist. This position is responsible for diagnosing tree care needs, building client relationships, and producing high-quality tree work alongside the field team.

This role is designed for an arborist who values both craftsmanship and communication—someone who can identify proper solutions and help clients understand and commit to them, then also step into the field to help execute that work to company standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Sales & Client Consultation (2 Days / Week)

• Conduct on-site consultations for residential and select commercial clients
• Assess tree health, structure, risk, and site conditions
• Develop pruning, removal, and plant health care recommendations aligned with best practices (ANSI A300 standards)
• Educate clients on tree biology, long-term care, and risk mitigation
• Prepare and present written estimates in a clear and professional manner
• Follow up on open proposals to maintain a strong close rate
• Build trust-based relationships that reflect company values and long-term thinking
