Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes.

Duties

• Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, set up piping, and build irrigation layouts.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules that support plant health.
• Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to prevent over or under-watering.
• Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on landscape needs.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance.
• Wet Checks and use of software.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to dig trenches and install various components of irrigation systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices and the specific watering needs of different plants.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all installations meet quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
