Irrigation Technician

Responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation issues on multiple commercial properties, high end communities, and multi-site portfolios to deliver high-quality landscape maintenance, and irrigation management.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable irrigation technician to join our landscape maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, lawn care, landscape maintenance, with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all irrigation issues. This role is essential to ensuring plant health, water efficiency, and consistent performance across our client’s properties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, heads, and lines.
• Perform seasonal system startups, audits, adjustments, and winterizations.
• Diagnose coverage issues, leaks, electrical faults, and pressure irregularities.
• Program and optimize irrigation controllers for efficiency and plant health,
• Document repairs, recommendations, and system conditions.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work practices on all job sites.

Requirements

• Must be able to read irrigation plans, POC installation experience, soldering.
• Prior experience with commercial irrigation systems, minimum of 3 years.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• 2-wire experience and knowledge.
• Familiarity with major irrigation brands and controller platforms.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
