Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of commercial irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, controllers, valves, and pumps.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of irrigation equipment to ensure proper functioning and water efficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues within commercial irrigation systems using diagnostic tools and electrical knowledge.
• Adjust watering schedules based on soil science principles and seasonal requirements to promote healthy turf and plant growth.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for system installation or repairs.
• Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions with overall landscape design and maintenance plans.
• Document all work performed, including system updates, repairs, and inspections for record-keeping and client reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role with a strong understanding of irrigation systems. Experience with 2-wire systems.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical diagnostics skills to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with soil science principles relevant to irrigation scheduling and water conservation.
