Irrigation Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in various landscapes, ensuring optimal water distribution for gardens and lawns. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for landscape maintenance.

Duties

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and pumps.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Dig trenches and prepare sites for irrigation installations.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation efficiency and landscape health.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and equipment.
• Ability to dig trenches and operate both hand tools and power tools safely.
• Familiarity with gardening practices and landscape design is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $24.07 - $30.00 per hour
