Responsibilities

• Adjust irrigation schedules based on soil conditions, weather patterns, and landscape needs to optimize water usage.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, excavators, and construction equipment to modify or upgrade irrigation infrastructure.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions with overall lawn care and landscaping projects.
• Diagnose electrical issues within irrigation systems using specialized diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of system performance, repairs performed, and parts used for ongoing system management.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment.
• Strong electrical diagnostics skills to troubleshoot wiring issues and control panel malfunctions.
• Familiarity with soil science principles to determine appropriate watering schedules and system adjustments.
