Irrigation Technician

Overview

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will extensive experience in landscape irrigation, with a focus on irrigation system troubleshooting and repair. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure efficient irrigation practices for gardens, lawns, and landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting and Repairing 2-wire systems
• Program Timers- Conventional, battery, remote, computer based, etc.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to build and modify irrigation setups as needed.
• Dig trenches and hole daily for irrigation lines and repairs.
• Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and implement necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, parts used, photos and maps.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation efficiency and needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in landscape irrigation, with a focus on irrigation system troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair 2-wire systems
• Experience and high proficiency in using multi-meter
• Ability to utilize the various troubleshooting tools available to irrigation technicians
• Experience in building and maintaining irrigation systems
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to dig trenches and holes daily and perform physical labor as required by the job.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
