Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs to residential homes and commercial properties.
• Assist with lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks to ensure overall landscape health and aesthetics.
• Use mechanical knowledge to adjust sprinkler heads, valves, timers, and controllers for optimal performance.
• Support landscaping projects by operating construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of system inspections, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the landscaping team to implement horticultural best practices for healthy plant growth.

Experience

• Proven experience working with irrigation systems in landscaping or construction environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, or sprinkler components.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds without assistance, bending, pulling, and perform the job in all weathers- ie. heat.
• Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators.
