Hotel Groundskeeper and Light Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Working as a hotel groundskeeper/light maintenance you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces as well as our indoor spaces.

Duties: * Conduct regular landscape clean up such as trash, weeds, etc.

* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.

* Remove debris and litter from outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness. Conduct trash removal from all indoor and outdoor cans daily.

*Assist with the setup and teardown of outdoor events or activities as needed.

* Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.

* Provides inclement weather safety ensuring adherence to safety guidelines; providing safe parking and walkways for staff and visitors.

Skills/Qualifications

*Previous experience in groundskeeping/light maintenance or a related field is preferred, but not required.

*Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.

*Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Must perform all duties assigned by management/ownership.

*Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in groundskeeping/light maintenance.
