POSITION TITLE

Groundskeeper REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of both the interior and exterior of the hotel. This role is essential to ensuring a positive guest experience and smooth daily operations.

SCHEDULE

9:00am to 3:00pm; 3 to 5 days per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of windows, floors, mirrors, walls, and all common areas.
  • Clean and maintain exterior spaces, including sweeping and pressure washing, especially during mayfly season.
  • Organize and maintain maintenance storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Empty trash and clean trash cans regularly.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy toward guests and team members.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to company dress code, maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Keep the manager informed of any issues and take appropriate corrective action or suggest alternatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of reaching, lifting, carrying, mopping, and sweeping frequently.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
