Hardscape and Landscape Construction Team Leader

Position Overview

As a Hardscape and Landscape Construction Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring high-quality results and efficient workflows. You’ll lead a team of skilled workers, manage on-site activities, and communicate directly with clients and management to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of construction workers in hardscape and landscape installations.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and designs.
• Oversee the installation of patios, retaining walls, sidewalks, outdoor rooms, and landscaping elements.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment, including skid steers, track loaders, excavators, and other tools.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management to provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hardscape and landscape construction, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in hardscaping and landscaping.
• Ability to read and execute blueprints and project plans.
• Proficient in operating construction equipment and tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
