Location

Honeoye Falls, NY (crews start from here; field-based at client job sites)

Travel

Local and regional travel to job sites; company driving as needed. Crews are home each night.

Schedule

Shifts begin at 7:00 AM Monday – Friday; candidates must be able to work overtime as needed. No Saturday work is required.

Salary

$32.00–$34.00/hour depending on experience; candidates with certain certifications or current CDL A or B licenses may be eligible for additional compensation.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience

10 years in the industry overall, with 5-6 years leading teams. Large-scale hardscape install experience is required, including natural boulders, dry stack walls, Techo-Bloc walls, light masonry, and paver or bluestone patios. Equipment experience (skid steers, mini excavators), and the ability to read construction drawings and renderings is required. Valid driver's license is required; ability to comply with DOT regulations and pass a DOT physical is required.

Role Description

The Hardscape Team Lead leads a high-performing installation crew that consistently delivers safe, profitable, and exceptional hardscape projects. This role owns daily execution by developing people, maintaining quality standards, controlling production, protecting company assets, and creating an outstanding client experience — all while living out JLC's Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, keep jobs on track, and address site challenges — from elevation changes to undisclosed conditions — while coordinating timelines with production managers.
• Review plans with company designers and production managers, flag what's missing, and plan workflow so equipment, materials, and tools are ready before work begins.
