*Kamehameha Schools is looking for Temporary Groundskeepers to join the KS Kapalama Operations team. These are Temporary, Part-time positions, but have the potential to work up to 40 hours/week.*

*Targeted starting hourly rate is $24/hour.*

• *Grounds* *maintenance operating various hand tools & gas-powered lawn equipment*
• *New Landscape Installation*
• *Grading and planting*
• *Irrigation Installation & repair*
• *Tree Trimming*
• *4-stroke small engine repair a plus!*
• *2-stroke small engine repair experience a plus!*

*Licensing & Certification:* *CDL B License*

Job Summary

Entry-level position that works with direction and supervision to perform general grounds keeping, event set up services and provides assistance to other Groundskeepers and Utility Workers as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

Groundskeeping Services

• Reviews work to be performed in advance with Groundskeeper II/III to ensure understanding of work-related risks and proper mitigation to ensure safety.
• Assists with assembling materials and tools for work to be performed.
• With guidance, prepares work areas for work to be performed, and cleans work areas, machines, and equipment following work completion.
• With direction, may independently perform general grounds keeping services.
