Position Summary

The Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the winery property. This hands-on position includes landscaping, irrigation, light maintenance, equipment operation, seasonal projects, and general repairs.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and is proactive in identifying and resolving maintenance issues before they become problems.

Primary ResponsibilitiesGrounds Maintenance

• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Weed, prune, fertilize, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and vineyard landscaping.
• Plant seasonal flowers, shrubs, and decorative landscaping.
• Operate zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other landscape equipment.
• Maintain parking areas, sidewalks, patios, and outdoor gathering spaces.
• Remove leaves, debris, snow, and ice as needed.

Irrigation & Landscape Systems

• Monitor and repair irrigation systems.
• Adjust sprinkler heads and watering schedules.
• Troubleshoot leaks and replace damaged irrigation components.
• Maintain landscape drainage systems.
