Groundskeeper & Maintenance Manager Job Description

Power Cross is seeking to add an experienced groundskeeper who has great maintenance knowledge and skills to the team. We aim to serve the Lord and honor all the facilities, field, vehicles, and campuses He has provided for us with excellent care.

Field and Facility Maintenance

* Mowing and Trimming: Maintaining grass at the correct height and trimming edges. * Line Marking: Marking and maintaining lines on fields and courts. * Irrigation: Watering fields and ensuring proper drainage. * Turf Management: Overseeing turf health, including seeding, fertilizing, and pest control. * Artificial turf management, including debris removing, turf rolling, and upkeep of top covering. * Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing equipment like mowers, line markers, and irrigation systems. * Event Preparation: + Field Preparation: Preparing fields for games and events, including raking, leveling, and ensuring a smooth playing surface. + Setting up Equipment: Setting up and removing equipment for events, such as goalposts, bases, and nets. + Assist at Events: May assist with scoring, timing, or other tasks during events. * Facility Cleaning and Maintenance: + Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness of athletic facilities, including restrooms and storage areas. + Repair: Performing routine repairs to fences, nets, and other athletic equipment. * Inventory and Ordering: + Inventory: Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment. + Ordering: Ordering supplies and equipment as needed. * Other Duties: + Supervision: May supervise part-time or student workers. + Training: May train others in the use of groundskeeping equipment.

Fleet Management
