Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces across our properties. Your expertise in landscaping, lawn care, and grounds upkeep will ensure our environment remains inviting and well-kept. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the overall aesthetic and safety of our grounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property for any leaks from backflow valves, text Manager picture and address of any leaks.
• Police property for litter (including side and back yards)
• Check Compactor areas, pick up any trash and run compactor if needed. Any household items left in
• area take a picture and text to Manager,
• Control weeds on property
• Maintain hedges, trim as needed
• Maintain plant beds
• Keep eyes open for anything that seems out of the norm. See something, say something.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to garden equipment, power tools, and small machinery is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques such as mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control.
• Experience operating construction or excavation equipment like excavators is a plus.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
