The Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Estimator to join our pre-construction team. In this role, you'll own the full bid process for commercial landscape projects ranging from $100K to $5M from takeoffs and material pricing to final proposal delivery. You'll work closely with our project management and operations teams to develop accurate, competitive bids that win work and protect margins. This is a high-impact role with real ownership, competitive pay, and room to grow.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)

Key Result Areas

* Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans, blueprints, and specifications for commercial landscape and hardscape projects

* Develop accurate and competitive project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

* Manage the full bid process from RFP receipt through proposal submission and follow-up

* Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and material suppliers

* Coordinate with project managers and operations to align estimates with field execution realities

* Maintain and update the company's unit cost database and bid templates

* Track bid outcomes (won/lost) and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating accuracy

* Attend pre-bid walkthroughs, site visits, and project kickoff meetings as needed
