Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the lawn care crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Lead landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and horticulture projects from start to finish, including planting, trimming, mowing, and fertilizing
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as irrigation system checks, tree care, construction projects, and general site upkeep
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, promoting a safe working environment for the team
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations for landscape improvements
• Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
• Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or related outdoor services
• Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or related fields
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, construction techniques, and general maintenance procedures
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in outdoor work environments
• Hands-on experience with landscape equipment and tools is preferred
