Crew Leader, Landscape

Overview

Here at StuveXT, we specialize in hydroseeding in residential and commercial environments throughout Western Wisconsin, UP of Michigan and Eastern Minnesota. We also install hardscapes and living landscape throughout Northwestern Wisconsin (e.g. retaining walls, paver walkways, bullet edgers, planting trees/shrubs/plants, landscaping rock, etc.). As a crew lead you will assist in hydromulch application and various landscaping installation tasks to create/ enhance outdoor spaces for our clients and the community as well as oversee and manage a small crew of two to three employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a crew of two or three employees.
• Maintain accurate material usage logs for the projects your crew is completing
• Assist in spraying hydromulch application on various jobsites
• Perform landscape installation tasks such as setting bullet edgers, placing landscaping rock, dirt work, worksite clean-up, etc.
• Operate power/hand tools and equipment (tractor, skidsteer, and single axle trucks) for landscaping projects
• Conduct yourself on the jobsite in a professional and safe manor at all times

Experience

• Experience in hardscape and living landscape installation preferred
• Willingness to learn and practice proper landscaping installation procedures
• Familiarity with working around heavy equipment such as a tractor, skidsteer, and single axle trucks is required
• Proficiency with various landscaping hand and power tools
• Ability to stand and kneel for long periods of time
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (e.g. hot and cold weather)
