Contract Landscaper

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong landscaping skillset and the ability to work independently and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various aspects of lawncare maintenance. The Landscaper will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Mowing and edging/weed eating lawns
• Weeding and mulching landscaping beds
• Tree, hedge, and shrub trimming
• Removing dead or damaged trees
• Performing general outdoor maintenance (walkway clearing, etc.)
• Assisting in construction, repair, and maintenance of outdoor structures as necessary

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Can pass a background check
• Proven experience in landscaping/ lawncare roles, particularly residential settings
• Ability to safely use common power tools and hand tools
• General construction experience
• Good time management skills
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective customer interactions
• Must be able to provide accurate itemized quotes and invoices
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $20.00 per hour
