As a Tree Pruner / Arborist, you’ll work as part of a skilled crew to care for trees and shrubs on residential and commercial client properties — contributing to a healthier urban forest, one property at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, canopy work, and structural pruning following industry best practices
• Assist with tree removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding as needed
• Work safely at height — climbing and/or operating aerial equipment — while following all safety protocols
• Operate small engine equipment including chain saws, pole saws, shears, and string trimmers
• Function effectively as both a team member and an independent operator depending on the task
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding the scope, process, and expectations of services
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project

Requirements

Forestry, horticulture, or a related field is a plus — as is prior industry experience. That said, if you bring the right attitude and a willingness to learn both on the job and on your own time, our structured training program will equip you with everything you need to succeed.
