As a Tree Pruner / Arborist / Groundsman, you’ll work as part of a skilled crew to care for trees and shrubs on residential and commercial client properties — contributing to a healthier urban forest, one property at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, canopy work, and structural pruning following industry best practices
• Assist with tree removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding as needed
• Work safely at height — climbing and/or operating aerial equipment — while following all safety protocols
• Operate small engine equipment including chain saws, pole saws, shears, and string trimmers
• Function effectively as both a team member and an independent operator depending on the task
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding the scope, process, and expectations of services
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project

Requirements

Forestry, horticulture, or a related field is a plus — as is prior industry experience. That said, if

you bring the right attitude and a willingness to learn both on the job and on your own time, our

structured training program will equip you with everything you need to succeed. All candidates

must be able to meet the following:

• Good physical condition with the ability to lift 50+ lbs and walk 3+ miles per day
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
• Ability to climb and work aloft safely
• Ability to obtain DOT certification & pass drug screenings
