Senior Irrigation Technician

About the Position

Heroes Lawn Care is looking for an experienced, motivated Senior Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position with real opportunity to lead, advance, and increase your earnings. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help mentor others on the crew.

What You'll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex irrigation issues independently
• Help train and guide less-experienced technicians
• Learn and assist with other Heroes services — fertilization, weed control, and lawn treatments that keep lawns healthy
• Dig trenches and perform physical labor as needed
• Safely operate irrigation install and repair equipment and hand tools
• Work outdoors in varying conditions, including heat and humidity
• Follow all safety guidelines and properly handle lawn care materials

What We're Looking For

• Irrigation or related field experience is required
• Training, lead, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks — lifting, digging, and carrying equipment
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to lead by example
• A valid driver's license (required)
• Ability to speak, read, and communicate proficiently in English

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, year-round position
• Overtime is expected during the busy season (paid at time-and-a-half)
• Competitive hourly base wage plus performance-based commission
• Established technicians earn $20–$28/hr in total earnings, with top performers at the high end
