Do you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes? Join the team at the Colorado Chautauqua Association, one of the most scenic and historic landscapes in Colorado, located at the base of the Flatirons.

We are currently accepting applications for Seasonal Grounds Staff for the 2026 season (through October 12, 2026). This role is ideal for landscape professionals with experience in mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscape maintenance, as well as those who enjoy working with gardens and plantings.

Our grounds staff help maintain the beauty of Chautauqua caring for a wide variety of landscapes including lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, groundcovers, planters, and charming cottage gardens throughout the historic grounds.

Primary Responsibilities Include

Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns throughout the campus Maintaining landscape beds and garden areas Planting and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees Maintaining planters and specialty garden areas Supporting overall landscape upkeep of the Chautauqua grounds Assisting other Chautauqua team members with occasional projects as needed

Schedule: This is a seasonal, full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. Workdays may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.

Compensation: Starting pay is $20.50 per hour.
