Summary
The Sales Director is responsible to grow and develop the sales and margins of MSI’s Hardscape product lines with landscape dealer and distributor network; located within an assigned geographic territory.

Compensation
This salaried, exempt position pays from $100,000 to $125,000 per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies for Hardscape products to achieve revenue and profitability goals in region.
Recruit, Hire, Train, Mentor and Lead high-performing sales team; provide coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
Provide product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service training for the sales team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to support long-term growth.
Understand our brand, products and procedures; utilize them to position us as market leader.
Identify market trends and additional growth opportunities, drive business development and market expansion efforts.
Lead negotiations and close deals with key customers and distributors, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Investigate and help sales team resolve customer claims/problems.
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports; use data to refine strategies and meet sales targets.
Collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure timely deliveries and inventory availability.
Partner with marketing to support brand positioning and drive demand through targeted merchandising.
Attend trade shows throughout the year as required.
