Responsibilities

• Perform tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal using proper techniques and safety protocols
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as bucket lifts to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely
• Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal or pruning projects
• Apply GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning landscape projects
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping duties
• Assist with growing trees and plants by applying horticultural practices that promote healthy growth
• Estimate and generate tree care leads.

Qualifications

• At least two years in the tree care industry.
• Applicable knowledge of native plants
• Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe removal or pruning of trees and branches
• Familiarity with GIS tools for landscape planning is a plus
• A valid drivers license
• Ability to operate standard software and digital technology
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to tree work and equipment operation

Pay: $24.00 per hour
