Project Manager - Landscaping Construction

Location - Nokomis / Sarasota / Ft. Meyers / Naples, FL areas

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Landscaping Construction Project Manager. We work with large commercial construction projects.

The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the financial performance and successful execution of one or more construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and effective communication with clients, team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of project delivery, from scope definition through close-out, while maintaining documentation and ensuring smooth field operations.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with clients, landscape architects, and sales team to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints. Develop project plans, including scope of work, timelines, budget estimates, and resource requirements. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project feasibility, identify potential risks, and propose solutions. Assist in the development of proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications. Review and understand the full scope of work. Communicate scope clearly to all internal and external stakeholders. Project Execution and Control: Coordinate and manage project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination. Supervise and provide guidance to project teams, including landscape crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
