Professional Gardener/Landscaper

Overview

Grandview Palace Condominium Association is seeking a skilled and physically capable professional gardener who understands the importance of visual impact, safety, and horticultural excellence in a waterfront community.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain diverse landscapes, including planting beds, trees, shrubs, and flower displays.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for pruning, planting, edging, mowing, and other landscaping tasks
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to optimize plant health
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, mulching, soil preparation, and pest management

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of landscaping/gardening experience (residential or commercial)

• Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping or related fields with a strong understanding of plant care principles
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Familiarity with irrigation systems is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with landscape maintenance tools
• Knowledge of growing practices across various plants in South Florida
• Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Spanish language proficiency preferred
• Pool maintenance experience a plus

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
