Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and hardworking landscape assistant to join our team and assist in managing our 100+ clients! Must be able to reliably report to work on time Monday-Thursday @ 7:30 a.m. The ideal candidate (though not a requirement) will have the skill set required to operate an Ex-Mark 36 inch walk-behind mower (training for this is available on the job site also), be able to use a gas powered edger, string trimmer, back pack blower and hedger safely, effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will need little instruction to accomplishing high quality lawn services at residential (and some commercial) properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and string trimming and general clean up of properties safely and efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds
• Conduct regular inspections of the landscape to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• (Owner responsibility and on the job training) Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is HIGHLY preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is beneficial.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping.
