Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure well-manicured grass areas.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces attractive and healthy.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install or repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of landscapes.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
• Maintain equipment such as excavators, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping machinery through regular inspections and basic repairs.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot various power tools and landscaping equipment effectively.
• Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, soil preparation, and mulching.
