Lawn Care Technician

Job Description

Luminary Lawns is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to help execute high quality mowing routes, lawn maintenance, and landscaping support across client properties.

This is a hands-on field role focused on consistency, efficiency, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Most days, you will be working on assigned mowing routes, making sure each property is maintained to Luminary Lawns’ quality and appearance standards. You may also assist with landscaping projects, garden maintenance, plantings, pruning, mulching, cleanups, and other outdoor property care work as needed.

At times, you may work independently managing assigned route work. Other days, you may work alongside another team member on larger route days, landscape jobs, seasonal projects, or special assignments.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean, consistent results, enjoys working outdoors, can manage their time well, and treats each property with a strong sense of ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Execute high quality lawn mowing across assigned routes
• Operate commercial electric mowing, trimming, and outdoor equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and cleanup for a clean finished appearance
• Assist with landscaping work including mulching, planting, pruning, weeding, cleanups, and garden maintenance
• Maintain route quality, consistency, and attention to detail with minimal supervision
• Work alongside or assist another technician when support is assigned
• Communicate job notes, property needs, and route updates using company apps
• Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
• Follow company standards for safety, property care, and customer experience
• Ensure every property is left cleaner and better than when we arrived
