Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weed control to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Use power tools and machinery like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and visual appeal.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
• Maintain all tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening principles.
• Familiarity with the use of power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other landscaping equipment.
• Experience with tree care activities including trimming and pruning.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
