Lawn Care Crew Member

Position Overview

Ace Landscaping is seeking a hardworking, dependable Lawn Crew Member to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for maintaining residential and commercial properties through mowing, string trimming, edging, and seasonal property cleanups. Crew members work outdoors in all weather conditions and take pride in delivering high-quality results while representing the company professionally.

No landscaping experience is required—we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Primary ResponsibilitiesLawn Maintenance

• Operate commercial zero-turn mowers safely and efficiently.
• Perform string trimming (weed whacking) around trees, fences, buildings, flower beds, and other obstacles.
• Edge sidewalks, driveways, and curbs for a clean, professional appearance.
• Blow grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, patios, and landscaped areas.
• Maintain a neat appearance on every property before leaving.

Spring Clean-Ups

• Remove leaves, sticks, branches, and winter debris.
• Clean landscape beds and prepare properties for the growing season.
• Assist with trimming ornamental grasses and light shrub pruning.
• Load and dispose of debris properly.

Fall Clean-Ups

• Remove leaves from lawns, landscape beds, gutters (when assigned), and hard surfaces.
• Use backpack blowers, tarps, and other equipment to efficiently collect leaves.
• Load trucks and trailers with debris.
• Leave each property clean and ready for winter.

Equipment Operated

• Commercial zero-turn mowers
• String trimmers (weed whackers)
• Backpack blowers
• Push mowers (when needed)
• Hand tools including rakes, shovels, tarps, and pruning tools
