Description

Callahan Gardens is hiring staff that are hard working to provide landscaping services. Experience and knowledge of equipment a plus but not necessary, we are willing to train for skills, so long as an individual has a strong work ethic and good attitude.

Job duties will include

• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Pruning shrubs and trees utilizing hedge trimmers, chain saws, or shears
• Leaf removal, both mechanical with equipment and by hand with rakes
• Perform general landscape maintenance duties including mulching, mowing, string trimming, general debris and trash clean up,
• Work in a team environment
• Always maintain a professional appearance
• Perform other various duties as assigned
• Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers with team members, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives
• Prior industry experience is not required
• Hours are typically 40-45 per week, Monday through Friday.

Physical Requirements

• Candidate must be able to stand/walk 90% of the day
• Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Work will be outside in a variety of weather conditions

Applicant must have transportation to and from work. full-time, part -time and temporary positions available. Rate of pay varies, starting at $17.50 per hour without landscaping experience, more $ per hour depending on experience. Must have valid ID to complete I-9 paperwork, etc.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour
