Landscape Technician Duties

• Reports for duty, on time, each day
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions from the crew leader or designated supervisor
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all crew members and crew leader
• Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies
• Safely operates machinery including, but not limited to, zero-turn mowers, weed-eaters, pole pruners, blowers, hand-held rotary spreaders and edgers
• Mulches, weeds, and maintains landscape beds
• Plants trees and shrubs according to specifications given by supervisor
• Performs light pruning on small, ornamental trees
• Operates gas blowers, rakes, and hands to clean up job site to the satisfaction of the supervisor on site
• Strives to improve job skills and certifications and demonstrates the potential for upward mobility
• Performs any other reasonable duty assigned by crew leader
