Landscape Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various properties through effective landscape management. Includes both regular maintenance on high end accounts, as well as special projects weekly. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that all landscaping tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain neat and healthy grass.
• Execute groundskeeping tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping duties.
• Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper plant care and growth.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy tree development.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or flowers as needed.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and performing minor repairs.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and working on-site.
• Minor irrigation work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is required.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job assignments.
