Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, planting, and installing landscape features
• Maintain lawns through fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush growth
• Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other construction elements with precision
• Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Support snow plowing and de-icing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge paired with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators or skid steers
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening; familiarity with horticulture principles is a plus
• Ability to operate construction machinery safely and effectively for hardscape or excavation projects
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
