Landscape Technician/Mason

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician/mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The Landscape Technician will work with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mulching/stone, trimming, edging walkways.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in the installation of new landscape features such as plants, trees, and hardscapes.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring healthy plant growth through proper care techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties.
• Knowledge of gardening practices, plant care, and landscape design principles is a plus.
