Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Load and unload landscape supplies using manual handling techniques and equipment like forklifts when necessary.
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals at customer sites.
• Load, secure, and transport materials or dangerous goods in compliance with company regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA and DOT standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for route adjustments or delivery updates while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with proven experience in commercial truck driving and route delivery.
• Experience driving various truck types including flatbeds and dump trucks.
• Skilled in manual handling techniques for loading/unloading cargo safely.
