Position Overview

Braun Construction is hiring Landscape Laborers to support our Chumbley / Cottonwood environmental restoration projects. This work focuses on wetland mitigation, invasive species removal, and native habitat restoration at sites in Washington State, including a remote island site on the Columbia River near Kalama, WA and a site near Woodland, WA.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants hands-on experience in environmental restoration and landscaping.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Clearing invasive vegetation (blackberry, reed canary grass, flag iris, etc.)
• Weed whacking, brush cutting, mowing, and hand clearing
• Assisting with herbicide applications (backpack and ATV sprayers)
• Planting, seeding, mulching, and protecting native species
• Installing and maintaining erosion control measures (silt fence, wattles, mats)
• Operating equipment such as ATV/UTVs, small tractors, and skid steers (as trained)
• Loading/unloading tools and materials and maintaining clean job sites
• Working safely around equipment and crews in active work areas
• Traveling by boat to/from island jobsite (crew transportation provided)
