Duties

• Maintain and enhance landscape features by trimming shrubs, pruning trees, mowing lawns, and planting new greenery.
• Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes to perform routine gardening tasks efficiently.
• Utilize power tools including hedge trimmers, and edgers to ensure precise and professional landscape upkeep.
• Assist with greenhouse activities by planting seedlings, transplanting plants, and monitoring plant health for optimal growth.
• Conduct regular lawn care routines such as fertilizing, aerating, weed control, and pest management to promote healthy garden beds.
• Support landscape design projects by preparing beds, installing mulch or soil amendments, and helping with planting schemes.
• Follow safety protocols when handling tools and equipment to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, soil health, pest control, and sustainable gardening practices.
• Greenhouse experience for nurturing young plants and managing controlled environment conditions.
• Growing experience in cultivating various plant species for different landscapes or agricultural purposes.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques such as mowing patterns, fertilization schedules, and aeration methods.
