Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Job Description

Under the direction of an account manager, leads a crew responsible for maintaining landscape properties. Operates ground maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers and sprayers. Prune trees and shrubs, removal of trash and all other debris from properties. May monitor and activate irrigation systems and apply herbicides to landscape areas. Ensures proper safeguarding of all landscaping equipment and cleanliness of company vehicles while under his/her supervision. Uses personal protective equipment correctly. Ability to interact with customers daily in a professional and competent manner. Reports to work in appropriate uniform, is punctual and maintain a high level of morale. Landscape Foreman will be responsible for all paperwork and administrative requirements related.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of job-related experience in a lead role and ability to perform under minimal supervision of account manager. Positions within this classification may require a valid Georgia driver’s license and insurable driving record. Ability to bend, stoop, twist and lift 50 pounds. Reliable source of transportation to and from dispatching office.
