Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Responsibilities

:

• Implement route schedules
• Manage crews to complete work at all scheduled and unscheduled client sites
• Perform work requiring the use of hand tools, power tools, and mowing equipment
• Safely operate company vehicles and issued equipment
• Complete daily work orders and necessary paperwork
• Provide recommendations to improve service to Maintenance Manager
• Train crew members
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

:

• 2 years of landscape maintenance experience
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing approximately 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license for daily operation of a company vehicle

Desired (not required)

• Experience working as a crew leader for a landscape company
• Good understanding of proper pruning practices
• Some knowledge of techniques to manage weeds, insects, and plant diseases
