Overview

Big Island Landscaping and Maintenance LLC is seeking a hardworking and dependable Landscape Laborer to join our growing team. This position involves outdoor work maintaining residential and commercial properties throughout Hawaiʻi Island.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing and edging
• Weed whacking and vegetation management
• Property cleanups and debris removal
• Hedge and shrub trimming
• Tree trimming assistance
• Planting and landscape installation projects
• Herbicide application and weed control
• Leaf blowing and general property maintenance
• Loading and unloading tools, equipment, and materials
• Operating landscaping equipment safely and responsibly
• Assisting with fence repairs and other outdoor maintenance projects as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in Hawaiʻi’s weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
• Experience in landscaping, farming, ranching, construction, grounds maintenance, or other outdoor labor is a plus

Pay

$16–30 per hour depending on experience, work ethic, reliability, and overall job performance.

Probationary Period
