Landscape Installation Technician

Job Overview

Installation Technician: The primary role of the Installation Technician will be to expertly install landscape designs and landscape projects as directed by our design consultants, customers and managers in the expected time budgeted. Duties

1.

Will follow directions of Installation Crew Leader and Designer/Project Manager for each installation.

2.

Operate tractor after sufficient training; properly install plants, trees, and sod. Safely load and transport materials to the job site.

3.

Prepare job sites properly for the defined scope of work. Install mulch, soil, gravel, stone as instructed. Assist with irrigation installation and repair or paver/stone work as needed.

4.

Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. or more.

5.

Safely load and transport all materials and equipment for the day’s installations; make deliveries and installations to customers in a timely fashion, calling the customer before each delivery and adhering to the company established guidelines for deliveries.

6.

Keeping the trucks stocked, cleaned and maintained on a daily basis and following the procedures for tracking all maintenance.

7.

Be the “front line” of customer service for our organization and represent us in a positive fashion with our customers. Every time you put on our uniform and make a delivery you are representing our business and your co-workers. Be courteous, respectful, helpful and as cleanly presentable as possible.

8.

Assist the customer to the best of your ability if they have questions about their projects or their yard when you are making deliveries and installations.

9.

When not working on installation projects the Installation Technician may be asked to help in the yard with various tasks that need to be completed.
